Evaluasi Kualitas Air berdasarkan Variasi Tata Guna Lahan Sungai Coban Hulu Kabupaten Pasuruan

Sungai Coban Hulu merupakan “agricultural river”, mencakup sekitar 61,44% dari total catchment area. Aktivitas pertanian ini disertai dengan penggunaan pupuk, pestisida, dan bahan kimia lainnya, yang berpotensi meningkatkan pencemaran air akibat limpasan permukaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas air Sungai Coban Hulu berdasarkan indeks pencemaran (IP) dan Water Quality Index (WQI), serta menganalisis dampak tata guna lahan terhadap kualitas air. Data kualitas air dikumpulkan menggunakan metode grab samples pada bulan Juli 2024 di 11 titik pengambilan yang mencakup wilayah pertanian, pemukiman, dan kawasan industri. Beberapa parameter yang diambil adalah ORP, konduktivitas, pH, salinitas, TDS, suhu, DO, dan kekeruhan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa segmen GB 3.1 memiliki kualitas air terburuk, dengan status “Tercemar Sedang,” sedangkan segmen lainnya tergolong “Tercemar Ringan” dengan rerata nilai IP sebesar 3,04 dan WQI 1,38. Studi ini dapat digunakan untuk peningkatan pengelolaan limbah dan penerapan praktik tata guna lahan berkelanjutan untuk menjaga kualitas air di Sungai Coban Hulu.
