Studi Erosi Dan Limpasan dengan Arah Angin Dari Sisi Kanan dan Sisi Kiri Menggunakan Rainfall Simulator

Permukaan bumi akan selalu mengalami fenomena erosi, di satu tempat akan terjadi erosi sementara di tempat lain akan terjadi sedimentasi, sehingga bentuknya akan selalu berubah seiring waktu. Penelitian ini melibatkan simulasi hujan buatan disertai pengaruh arah angin berupa blower NRT-PRO pada sisi kiri dan sisi kanan menggunakan alat rainfall simulator dengan sampel tanah berupa pasir kuarsa. Penggunaan alat rainfall simulator dalam analisis ini memungkinkan simulasi hujan pada skala intensitas 1 liter/menit, 1,5 liter/menit, dan 2 liter/menit. Penelitian menggunakan alat rainfall simulator untuk menguji seberapa besar pengaruh erosivitas hujan yang disertai arah dan kecepatan angin terhadap besaran erosi yang dihasilkan oleh pasir kuarsa. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis perbandingan hasil laju erosi metode USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation), laju erosi rainfall simulator, dan laju erosi hasil luasan grid rainfall simulator. Hasil dari masing masing pendekatan tersebut memperoleh estimasi besaran laju erosi. Dari analisis dan perhitungan menunjukkan nilai laju erosi menggunakan metode USLE, laju erosi rainfall simulator, dan laju erosi grid rainfall simulator memeroleh hasil yang selaras pada masing masing metode.
